Wisconsin Campus Expansion Project

Situated on the St. Croix River bluffs south of Hudson, Wisconsin is the 300-acre preserve owned by Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center (CNC). Carpenter has envisioned building a permanent facility on their Wisconsin Campus, and now, after decades of research, planning, and fundraising, CNC will break ground on this a long-awaited project. Their multi-faceted campus expansion plan includes building a Visitor Center, improving their trail system, creating outdoor learning areas, and continuing to manage the land to protect native ecosystems. These improvements will offer visitors an opportunity to witness wild wonders, learn about the land’s rich diversity of life, and deepen their connection to our natural world.
