Melanoma: Self detection & prevention

Melanoma, a skin cancer that is often lethal but, when found early, is easily cured in an outpatient setting without a need for follow-up chemo or radiation. The American Cancer Society predicts 200,340 new U.S. cases of melanoma in 2024; It can strike anyone from preteen to elderly. I have devoted the past 23 years to educating teen students and adults about self-detection and prevention of melanoma.
